The Bears finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a D.

Somebody took the Bears to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it.

The whole projection now runs through Bo Nix; hit there and everything else looks smarter. The cost of the Murphy II reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Getting Williams where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and edge rusher is still a hole.
