You can hear the double-takes from here. The Bears took Taulia Tagovailoa at No. 190, roughly 195 spots before his name belonged. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

So much rides on Jayden Daniels that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
