Thirty-one other rooms let Jawhar Jordan slide, and the Cardinals were the ones holding the card at pick 225. Highway robbery. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. Spending an early pick on TE-EDGE with tight end and linebacker open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

Every board in the league had Carter lower, and that gap is the story.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
