The Commanders found their guy under center in Williams: B.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Commanders spent their marquee pick on Caleb Williams, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

The Commanders indulged a want in Solomon while a need in wide receiver, edge rusher and other spots stayed open. Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The McKinstry steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

They are betting Paul proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
