Williams is the plan now, and the Bears grade out a D.

Somebody took the Bears to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it. Hard to defend, and the D reflects that.

Everything downstream of Caleb Williams depends on Caleb Williams, and the building knows it. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

Kamara has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. On value alone, Newton makes the weekend a net positive.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
