Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Cowboys spent pick 213 on Isaac TeSlaa, a name the board had a full 54 spots lower.

The whole projection now runs through Quinn Ewers; hit there and everything else looks smarter. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
