The Cowboys found their guy under center in Sanders: F. The trade table was where it all came apart. The Cowboys shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. A weekend to file away and forget, and an F to match.
So much rides on Shedeur Sanders that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. The linebacker hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.
They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
The verdict is harsh because the weekend was, and there is little to argue.
