There is conviction, and then there is this. The Bears took Blake Watson a full 108 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. One of the weekend's best, top to bottom, and a A- to show for it.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Bears paired the rookies with proven help, Sauce Gardner leading the way.
