The Bears looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Taulia Tagovailoa at slot 226 regardless, 159 picks early. Little to argue with here, and the A- says so.

Getting Chestnut where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.

Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The veteran additions, A.J. Brown chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.
