Call it larceny. Michael Pratt sat on the board until the Round 4 slot, and the Bears did not need to be asked twice. No fireworks, but a solid B+.

The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Bertrand reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.

Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 7 of 8 of the wish list covered. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
