A passer of the future in Williams, and a B+, for the Bears.

Start where it matters. The Bears took Caleb Williams to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. No fireworks, but a solid B+.

They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Elliss has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

The Jenkins value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. The Connor McGovern pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
