Somebody in Round 7, Pick 12 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Bears sat still while Rasheen Ali, the No. 188 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

They are betting Tagovailoa proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

Bottom line, with Brock Bowers leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
