The Jaylen Harrell pick is the one that will follow the 49ers into the fall. They took him 75 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

Landing Smith that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
