When a board-topper like Spencer Rattler slides to Round 4, Pick 12, you do not overthink it, and the Raiders did not.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. They are betting Logue proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

The Michael Jackson deal gives the class an established piece to lean on. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.

In the end it comes back to Amarius Mims, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
