There is a lot to like until you notice offensive lineman is still a hole. The Cardinals never got to the one that mattered most. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.
Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The skill positions did well by the weekend.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick-by-Pick
No edge and no loss on Marvin Harrison Jr. in pick No. 2; it is a wash and a sensible one. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
In slot 21 they get a double-digit-sack hope at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
They took Quinn Ewers at par in the 34th pick, which is nothing to complain about. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
