The Steelers lost the trade table, and the C tells the story.

The Steelers clearly saw something nobody else did in Xavier Thomas, taking him 57 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They will regret leaving safety for another day if the season turns on it.

The Steelers indulged a want in Suamataia while a need in safety, linebacker and other spots stayed open. The Tagovailoa pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

If Quinyon Mitchell and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
