The Commanders lost the trade table, and the C+ tells the story. When the story of this class is written, it opens with Sam Hartman at pick No. 138, a reach of 93 spots that the board flatly disagrees with.
The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Wallace.
Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Knight pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at edge rusher, running back and other spots.
Hit on JC Latham and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.
