Larceny in pick 182 lands the Patriots a A-, Washington and all.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Patriots were there to profit. Malik Washington, the No. 119 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 182nd pick. Add it all up and it grades out a clean A-.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.
