A franchise passer in Williams headlines a D weekend for the Bears.

The Bears lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again.

So much rides on Caleb Williams that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Chambers at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

The cost of the Robinson reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
