The 49ers did not so much draft Zion Logue as overpay for him, 28 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
