Laumea should have been long gone. The Packers pounced, and earned a B.

This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Sataoa Laumea, the No. 117 name on the board, stolen at Round 5, Pick 32. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. Every board in the league had Benson lower, and that gap is the story.

They went 6 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. They trusted the board more than the depth chart.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
