You build a draft on nights like this. Javon Baker had no business being available in Round 7, Pick 23, and the Packers did the only sane thing and turned in the card. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.

Nate Wiggins is a better player than the 25th pick suggests; smart patience, rewarded. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.

Kamren Kinchens at the Round 2 slot is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick57 Rnd2 Kris Jenkins
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Kris Jenkins at pick 57. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick88 Rnd3 Kingsley Suamataia
Steal is underselling it; Kingsley Suamataia at No. 88 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. It patches a soft spot without any drama.

A running back of that caliber at slot 91 is the definition of value, full stop. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
