Best value of the weekend goes to the Patriots for Hancock: C.

You could see the war room lean forward. Jordan Hancock at the Round 7 slot is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. It lands right in the middle: a C, no more, no less.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. That safety hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

They are betting Dippre proves the room right and everyone else wrong. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.

Not a disaster, not a triumph, just a middling class.
