Best value of the weekend goes to the 49ers for Coleman: D.

The board owed the 49ers one, and it paid up: Keon Coleman, the No. 36 name on the board, sitting there at pick 98 like a gift left on the doorstep. Hard to defend, and the D reflects that.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

If Gore Jr. pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
