The 49ers did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-.

When the story of this class is written, it opens with Keaton Bills at slot 211, a reach of 22 spots that the board flatly disagrees with. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up. They banked enough surplus on Hall Jr. to cover a lot of smaller sins. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

A fair-value weekend of trading, no edge to be found.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
