The board owed the Steelers one, and it paid up: Blake Fisher, the No. 98 name on the board, sitting there at pick 121 like a gift left on the doorstep. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

It is not that Fisher is a bad player; it is that the Steelers had louder needs to answer first. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
