The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Quinshon Judkins, the 163rd overall pick, roughly 87 picks past where he belonged. It holds up to a second look, which is why it earns the A-.
The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. The Vikings paired the rookies with proven help, David Montgomery leading the way.
On the needs board they went 3 of 8, with offensive lineman the one that mattered most.
It is a haul that will look even better come September.
