The Bears put a flag in the ground for Parker Brailsford, 71 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit.

For all the activity, linebacker went untouched, which is hard to explain. That Williams pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
