Draft Profile: Bio
After high school, Alexander joined Georgia.

In 2022 as a freshman Alexander saw action in 10 games and played a total of 139 snaps for the Bulldogs. He recorded just 3 tackles, 4 assists, while adding 2 stops. As a pass rusher, he added 8 total pressures, which included 6 QB hurries, 2 QB hits, and no sacks on the season.

After season's end Alexander transferred to USC where as a sophomore for the Trojans in 2023 Alexander played 13 games and took part in 660 snaps for the Trojans. He recorded 32 tackles, 19 assists, while adding 28 stops. As a pass rusher, he chalked up 32 total pressures, and 23 QB hurries, 6 QB hits, and 3 sacks during the year.
Scouting Report: Strengths
  • Provides some secondary interior pass rush, getting most penetration when playing three technique.
  • Lower than offensive lineman on every short-yardage play. Good agility and ability to change direction for his size.
  • Alexander has an excellent feel for working off blockers and knowing how and when to counter as the play goes on.
  • He has the heavy hands and upper-body strength to win with power. He drops his weight and anchors well against the run, holding up at the point of attack and capable of occupying double teams.
  • Strong tackler. Has good power in hands and can anchor, shed, and chase.
  • A technician with a high motor, Alexander has a variety of moves and displays exceptionally good hand use. Alexander shows a strong finishing burst and has the power to hold at the point of attack as a run defender.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • He’s very much a work in progress with his hand in the dirt. Alexander doesn’t play with ideal physicality, often failing to set the edge as a run defender.
  • He struggles to shed blockers and doesn’t show ideal lateral movement skills. Alexander also needs to make better use of his length and hands in the pass rush.
  • Must improve hand use and read-and-react skills. Lacks the violent hands to shed and can be eliminated by double-team blocks.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
