Picking No. 1 for the second consecutive year, the Jacksonville Jaguars opted to shore up the defensive line in 2022.
The Jaguars selected Georgia defensive end Travon Walker with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. Walker was as high as +200 a month ago, but surpassed Aidan Hutchinson earlier this week and closed as a -500 favorite to be the first selection on Thursday night.
Walker had just 6 sacks for the historically great Georgia defense last season, but tested through the roof at the NFL Draft combine.

This was the beginning of Walker's ascent up the board and into the hearts of Jaguars GM Trent Baalke, who has been pushing to select the pass rusher.
