Overall B+
ValueB+ NeedB+ TradesA+ FutureC
The steal of the weekend belongs to the Seahawks and Fidone II: B+.

The Seahawks ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B+.

Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. That is a tight end worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.

Pick Analysis
Pick5 Rnd1 Abdul Carter
In No. 5 they get a double-digit-sack hope. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick18 Rnd1 Travis Hunter
In the 18th overall pick they get a sticky cover corner, and a steal at that. Need was not the driver here.
Pick52 Rnd2 T.J. Sanders
A slide stopped in Round 2, Pick 20, with T.J. Sanders worth more than the price. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick92 Rnd3 Chris Paul Jr.
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Chris Paul Jr. in pick No. 92. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick137 Rnd4 Miles Frazier
They will replay Miles Frazier at the Round 4 slot for years; that is how good the value is. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick223 Rnd7 Thomas Fidone II
Thomas Fidone II in the 223rd pick should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
