Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall

FutureB-
The Seahawks turned the phones into found money: B+. The real work happened on the phones. The Seahawks fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with.
That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. However the rest shakes out, Sadiq at that price is a win they earned.
They will need Smith to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
Pick Analysis
Pick21
Rnd1
Anthony Hill Jr.
Fair-plus on Anthony Hill Jr., a quiet win that adds up over a draft. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick43
Rnd2
Jake Slaughter
Jake Slaughter slid further than he should have, and the Round 2 slot is lovely value for the offensive lineman. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick54
Rnd2
Kenyon Sadiq
They let Kenyon Sadiq come to them and pounced at the 54th pick. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick58
Rnd2
Kamari Ramsey
They did well to land Kamari Ramsey in pick No. 58, just ahead of his grade. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick75
Rnd3
R Mason Thomas
The board had cheaper options than R Mason Thomas at Round 3, Pick 11, and it noticed. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick85
Rnd3
Dontay Corleone
They paid sticker price for Dontay Corleone in pick 85, and that is fine. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick111
Rnd4
Aamil Wagner
Aamil Wagner in No. 111 is fair value, right on his grade. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick122
Rnd4
Tim Keenan III
A straight-up fair deal on Tim Keenan III at slot 122, value and slot in agreement. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick150
Rnd5
Jeremiah Wilson
No drama and no debate, Jeremiah Wilson went about where he belonged in No. 150. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Pick165
Rnd5
Aaron Anderson
Value with a capital V on Aaron Anderson in pick 165, a genuine coup. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick180
Rnd6
DeAndre Moore Jr.
A quiet steal in the 180th overall pick: DeAndre Moore Jr. for less than the market said. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick189
Rnd6
Quinten Joyner
A market-rate running back, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Quinten Joyner. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick200
Rnd6
James Smith
They paid a round early for James Smith in pick No. 200, more than the board wanted. A need, and now a little less of one.
