Draft Grade — Jaguars
Overall B+
ValueA- NeedB TradesA+ FutureB-
The steal of the weekend belongs to the Jaguars and Sanders: B+.

Thirty-one other rooms let Raheim Sanders slide, and the Jaguars were the ones holding the card at Round 6, Pick 18. Highway robbery.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Adding Derek Stingley Jr. by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.

Pick Analysis
Pick25 Rnd1 Tyler Warren
In slot 25 they get a mismatch in the passing game at a price that makes it sweeter.
Pick36 Rnd2 Nick Emmanwori
Nick Emmanwori slipping to the Round 2 slot is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick70 Rnd3 Azareye'h Thomas
Azareye'h Thomas at the 70th pick is money in the bank, a cornerback taken below his worth. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick88 Rnd3 Tai Felton
They let Tai Felton come to them and pounced at the 88th overall pick. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick106 Rnd4 Jordan Phillips
They paid sticker price for Jordan Phillips in pick 106, and that is fine. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick125 Rnd4 Jake Majors
Jake Majors at pick No. 125 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick143 Rnd5 Kevin Winston Jr.
Kevin Winston Jr. in Round 5, Pick 4 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick184 Rnd6 Quincy Riley
The board had Quincy Riley higher than No. 184, and the cornerback fell to them anyway. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick196 Rnd6 Raheim Sanders
Circle this one: Raheim Sanders at No. 196 is a fall that decides a draft. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick218 Rnd6 Jay Higgins
Jay Higgins at the 218th pick is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
