Draft Grade — Titans

FutureD-
The Siereveld reach set a tone the Titans could not shake: F. Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Titans spent the 204th pick on Austin Siereveld, a name the board had a full 52 spots lower.
They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. With interior defensive lineman, quarterback and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them.
Allen at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.
There is no soft landing here; this class has to massively overperform just to matter.
Pick Analysis
Pick3
Rnd1
Francis Mauigoa
In slot 3 they get an anchor for the offensive line. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick19
Rnd1
Peter Woods
In No. 19 they get a quarterback's worst nightmare, outstanding value to boot. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick20
Rnd1
Jeremiyah Love
In Round 1, Pick 20 they get a centerpiece for the ground game at a price that makes it sweeter. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick35
Rnd2
Eric Singleton Jr.
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Eric Singleton Jr. at the Round 2 slot is the proof. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick36
Rnd2
Nyck Harbor
Good price on Nyck Harbor in pick 36, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick67
Rnd3
Connor Lew
They paid sticker price for Connor Lew in the 67th overall pick, and that is fine. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick91
Rnd3
CJ Allen
Somehow CJ Allen was still sitting there in pick No. 91, and they pounced on premier linebacker value. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick95
Rnd3
Mansoor Delane
The board had Mansoor Delane higher than Round 3, Pick 31, and the cornerback fell to them anyway. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick127
Rnd4
Jyaire Hill
A surprising call. With interior defensive lineman, quarterback and other spots still to address, they spent No. 127 on Jyaire Hill, a cornerback they were not short of.
Pick137
Rnd4
Rod Moore
They read the board right and Rod Moore was the payoff at pick 137. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick149
Rnd5
Tree Babalade
They went early on Tree Babalade in the Round 5 slot, and the value did not follow. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick167
Rnd5
Xavier Nwankpa
They paid a round early for Xavier Nwankpa in slot 167, more than the board wanted. They doubled down on a strength rather than a need.
Pick174
Rnd5
Barion Brown
Barion Brown at the 174th overall pick is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. The roster fit checks out.
Pick181
Rnd6
Princewill Umanmielen
They reached into another round for Princewill Umanmielen, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick204
Rnd6
Austin Siereveld
Austin Siereveld in Round 6, Pick 28 is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick216
Rnd6
Da'Shawn Womack
They left a pile of value on the table to take Da'Shawn Womack this early at pick No. 216. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
