Draft Grade — Dolphins
Overall

FutureA-
The Dolphins robbed the room for Hill Jr.. Final grade: D+. The trade table was where it all came apart. The Dolphins shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill.
It is not that Terrell is a bad player; it is that the Dolphins had louder needs to answer first. Landing Hill Jr. that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.
The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
Pick Analysis
Pick19
Rnd1
Mansoor Delane
In the Round 1 slot they get a potential shutdown corner, outstanding value to boot.
Pick43
Rnd2
Avieon Terrell
A want over a need in Round 2, Pick 11: Avieon Terrell adds a cornerback while edge rusher keeps waiting.
Pick75
Rnd3
Dillon Thieneman
Somehow Dillon Thieneman was still sitting there in the 75th pick, and they pounced on premier safety value. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Pick89
Rnd3
Max Klare
You do not let a tight end like Max Klare reach No. 89 and blink. They did not. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick90
Rnd3
Anthony Hill Jr.
Anthony Hill Jr. at the 90th overall pick is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. The roster fit checks out.
Pick92
Rnd3
Germie Bernard
A wide receiver of that caliber at pick 92 is the definition of value, full stop. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick97
Rnd3
Connor Lew
The board fumbled Connor Lew all the way to No. 97, and they scooped it up. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick111
Rnd4
Garrett Nussmeier
They robbed the room for Garrett Nussmeier here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick129
Rnd4
Emmett Johnson
They barely believed it either: Emmett Johnson still on the board at pick No. 129. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick138
Rnd4
Jude Bowry
They will replay Jude Bowry at Round 4, Pick 38 for years; that is how good the value is. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick149
Rnd5
Ar'maj Reed-Adams
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Ar'maj Reed-Adams in the Round 5 slot. It fills a real need, too.
Pick156
Rnd5
CJ Daniels
CJ Daniels in the 156th overall pick should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick163
Rnd5
Albert Regis
By-the-book stuff, Albert Regis at the 163rd pick squarely in line with his ranking. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick171
Rnd5
Jalen Farmer
A quiet steal in slot 171: Jalen Farmer for less than the market said. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick198
Rnd6
Dae'Quan Wright
Dae'Quan Wright in pick No. 198 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
