Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall B
ValueA+ NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
Best value of the weekend goes to the Ravens for Singleton Jr.: B.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Eric Singleton Jr. tumbling to the Ravens in the Round 7 slot is a gift they did not have to think twice about. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

A fair-value weekend of trading, no edge to be found.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.

Pick Analysis
Pick31 Rnd1 Spencer Fano
In the Round 1 slot they get an anchor for the offensive line, outstanding value to boot. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick63 Rnd2 Rueben Bain Jr.
A edge rusher of that caliber at pick 63 is the definition of value, full stop. It fills a real need, too.
Pick95 Rnd3 Jeremiyah Love
Jeremiyah Love at the 95th pick is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick131 Rnd4 Jermod McCoy
They robbed the room for Jermod McCoy here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick143 Rnd5 LT Overton
You do not let an edge rusher like LT Overton reach pick No. 143 and blink. They did not. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick170 Rnd5 Cade Klubnik
They will replay Cade Klubnik at Round 5, Pick 32 for years; that is how good the value is. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick172 Rnd5 Cayden Green
Cayden Green in the 172nd overall pick should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick184 Rnd6 Dani Dennis-Sutton
They barely believed it either: Dani Dennis-Sutton still on the board at No. 184. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick219 Rnd7 Zane Durant
Circle this one: Zane Durant at the Round 7 slot is a fall that decides a draft. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick244 Rnd7 Charles Jagusah
Steal is underselling it; Charles Jagusah at slot 244 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick246 Rnd7 Eric Singleton Jr.
Somehow Eric Singleton Jr. was still sitting there in the 246th overall pick, and they pounced on premier wide receiver value. The roster fit checks out.
