Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall B
ValueB NeedB+ TradesB- FutureB-
The steal of the weekend belongs to the Seahawks and Singleton Jr.: B.

Somebody in pick No. 43 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Seahawks sat still while Eric Singleton Jr., the No. 21 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. The Moore reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.

Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.

Pick Analysis
Pick11 Rnd1 Spencer Fano
In No. 11 they get a plug-and-play piece up front. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick43 Rnd2 Eric Singleton Jr.
Circle this one: Eric Singleton Jr. at Round 2, Pick 11 is a fall that decides a draft. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick75 Rnd3 Whit Weeks
They did well to land Whit Weeks in pick No. 75, just ahead of his grade. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick111 Rnd4 Terry Moore
Terry Moore in pick 111 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick150 Rnd5 Jeremiah Wilson
By-the-book stuff, Jeremiah Wilson at the Round 5 slot squarely in line with his ranking. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick180 Rnd6 Jacob Rodriguez
A tidy bit of business in the 180th overall pick, where Jacob Rodriguez graded well above the range. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick189 Rnd6 Jahiem White
A reach for Jahiem White in the 189th pick; a little patience would have been rewarded. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
