Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall

FutureD-
The Seahawks answered their biggest question with Allar. Grade: F. The tape said wait; the Seahawks did not. DJ Campbell went at slot 150, a good 36 picks before the board was ready. Little went right, and the F does not pretend otherwise.
They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. The whole projection now runs through Drew Allar; hit there and everything else looks smarter. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
McKinney falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.
In the end, a class that has to defy its grades just to matter.
Pick Analysis
Pick2
Rnd1
T.J. Parker
T.J. Parker in the 2nd overall pick is exactly on the number, no argument either way. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick10
Rnd1
Jeremiyah Love
In pick 10 they get a workhorse for the backfield. A real need, handled.
Pick11
Rnd1
Drew Allar
In slot 11 they get a passer to set the clock by at fair value. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick34
Rnd2
Nyck Harbor
A reasonable price with a little left over, Nyck Harbor in the Round 2 slot. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick43
Rnd2
Max Klare
Max Klare in No. 43 lands just on the right side of the ledger. The roster fit checks out.
Pick66
Rnd3
Iapani Laloulu
A tidy little value on Iapani Laloulu in the 66th pick, a step better than break-even. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick111
Rnd4
Harold Perkins Jr.
Harold Perkins Jr. slid further than he should have, and the Round 4 slot is lovely value for the linebacker. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick150
Rnd5
DJ Campbell
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for DJ Campbell. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick180
Rnd6
DJ McKinney
Steal is underselling it; DJ McKinney at the 180th pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
