Scouting Report: Strengths
  • Flashes enough quickness off the snap to threaten gaps at three-technique, especially when slanting.
  • A compactly built, high-motor lineman, Silvera brings a nice blend of power and quickness. Silvera shows impressive get-off, often exploding off the line and getting into gaps before blockers can react.
  • He’s quick to react and locate the ball, and he shows enough speed to succeed in backside pursuit. Silvera plays with excellent balance and a strong, flexible core, rarely ending up on the ground.
  • Good weight-room strength, which translates onto the field in terms of his anchor.
  • His hand use is excellent; he’s strong in the upper body and consistently swats away blockers.
  • Combines excellent power with initial quickness, but one of his best attributes are his violent hands, which he uses with impressive precision.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • Silvera doesn’t have the ability to dip and bend around the edge, and Silvera lacks the necessary suddenness at the line of scrimmage to penetrate through gaps.
  • Must improve hand use and read-and-react skills. Lacks the violent hands to shed and can be eliminated by double-team blocks.
  • As a pass rusher, his hand use is inconsistent. He’s short on counter moves in the pass rush.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
