Following high school, Isaac opted to join Alabama State.In 2018 as a freshman Isaac saw action in 11 games and played a total of 619 snaps at cornerback for the Hornets. He recorded 27 tackles, 3 assists, while adding 14 stops. In coverage Isaac notched up 6 pass breakups, one interception, and a QB rating when targetted of 85.0.
As a sophomore in 2019 he played in just 3 games and logged 177 snaps for the Hornets. He made 11 tackles, one assist, and had 3 stops. In coverage he totaled one pass breakup, no interceptions, and an unimpressive QB rating when targetted of 135.8.

- Instinctive, adept at reading routes and anticipating throws, and strong in zone coverage.
- He’s also very good in zone coverage, showing a great understanding of routes and the ability to close quickly.
- Does a good job getting his head around in time when playing with his back to the line of scrimmage. Has the ability to cover quickness underneath.
- Despite not having good long speed has surprising change-of-direction ability, capable of mirroring quickness underneath.
- Alert defender for zone coverage, showing good understanding of route progressions occurring behind him and a quick burst downhill to break on underneath passes in front of him.
- Stout and feisty. Will engage, shed and securely wrap the ballcarrier. Very fluid hips, backpedal and change-of-direction agility.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Feet aren’t ideal, as Isaac gets sloppy in his backpedal and can be sluggish when transitioning to close on the ball.
- Lacks the recovery speed to catch receivers if he waits for them to arrive
- Doesn't possess the long speed to cover deep - will be a liability unless given help, especially in man
