Strengths
  • Reads quarterbacks eyes and reacts quickly to targets in zone coverage.
  • Intelligent player who can play "MIKE" linebacker despite his lack of size because of his instincts and ability to find the ball in traffic.
  • Handles misdirection well with quick change-of-direction ability. Comes downhill quickly against the run when he has an open lane.
  • Shows toughness to get under the pads of tackles to bull them, club them upfield to get the inside lane, or fight through blocks for secondary rush when the passer steps up.
  • Is a gifted athlete with an impressive frame and a lot of raw ability. He needs to get stronger to do more damage at the point of attack and is very unpolished with the mental aspect of the position. Streaky instincts and anticipation.
Weaknesses
  • Occasionally overruns plays due to aggressive nature. Hesitates when facing running back Blocks while rushing the passer.
  • His lateral agility and burst often put him in position to make big plays, but he takes questionable routes to the ball and struggles to avoid blockers when in pursuit.
  • Generally an effective openfield tackler but doesn't wrap up consistently. Shows only average awareness in coverage.
  • Lacks fluidity to hold up in space or drop in coverage. Washed out and caught in traffic in the middle of the field.
  • Relies on speed and a bull rush when asked to rush the passer with no developed technique.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
