Blake Whiteheart from Mount Tabor High High School was rated a 3-star recruit by ESPN and handed a 3-star grade by 247 Sports. After high school, Whiteheart opted to join Wake Forest.In 2018 as a freshman Whiteheart saw action in just 2 games for the Demon Deacons and didn't feature in the passing game.
As a sophomore in 2019 he played 5 games and featured little in the passing game.
As a junior in 2020 he played 9 games and hauled in just 5 catches for just 61 yards for an average of 12.2 yards per catch, with no TDs, and an excellent QB rating when targeted of 97.9.

- Seems to enjoy the physical confrontation of blocking. Is willing to attack bigger defenders with explosive pop and good strength.
- Good burst off the snap, quick hands and good balance to gain a clean release.
- Above-average acceleration for a big man.
- Looks to get involved downfield and will block multiple defenders on a single play when Whiteheart can. Understands his role as a blocker.
- Good effort at the point of attack and second level as a blocker. Intelligent and will quickly acclimate to an NFL offense.
- Has enough speed to challenge the seam but does not possess elite top-end speed.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Whilst Whiteheart is at his best running downfield, he lacks the elite top-end speed to be a field stretcher.
- Essentially a muscled-up receiver in the passing game.
- Whiteheart also lacks suddenness as a route runner, and that is a potential issue at the next level.
