The Chargers won the weekend at the trade table. Grade: A-. The trade table was a mismatch, and the Chargers were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. It holds up to a second look, which is why it earns the A-.
However the rest shakes out, Bullock at that price is a win they earned. The Travis reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. The Chargers clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.
Trust the process, because this time the process plainly worked.
