Best value of the weekend goes to the Chiefs for Simpson: B-. The Chiefs spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Jaylin Simpson, the No. 169 name on the board, in the Round 7 slot. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.
Every board in the league had Corcoran lower, and that gap is the story. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
