The Cardinals left with their quarterback, and a D to match. The rest of the league will want that one back. Nic Anderson tumbling to the Cardinals in Round 5, Pick 1 is a gift they did not have to think twice about.
The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. So much rides on Carson Beck that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him.
For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.
In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
