The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Browns reached some 27 spots for Jalen McLeod, and value like that does not grow back.

TeSlaa at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it. They gave back a little on the phones for the right to move.

It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
