The Packers let Winston Jr. fall and pounced. Final grade: C-. Somebody in the Round 6 slot was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Packers sat still while Kevin Winston Jr., the No. 91 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. It lands right in the middle: a C-, no more, no less.
The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.
So much rides on Abdul Carter that the real verdict is a season or two away.
