The Chiefs spent real capital to be 84 picks early on Jared Wiley, and the board is going to hold them to it. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

However the rest shakes out, Simpson at that price is a win they earned. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
