More right than wrong for the Chiefs, and a B- to prove it.

There is reaching, and then there is Brenden Rice at pick No. 57. The Chiefs jumped the board by 56 and dared it to prove them wrong. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. Getting Fatheree II where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
