Call it larceny. Cody Simon sat on the board until pick 185, and the Steelers did not need to be asked twice.

They punted on safety, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. It is not that Grant is a bad player; it is that the Steelers had louder needs to answer first. Every board in the league had Fairchild lower, and that gap is the story.
